Minimum viable product of a marketplace built in Node.js, AngularJS and Firebase, with a MariaDB database and a supporting PHP back end, to validate the business model before the full investment.
The challenge
The entrepreneur needed to test demand for a marketplace on a limited budget, without building the whole platform before knowing whether the model worked.
The objective
Launch, within a fixed scope, the essential flow (seller sign-up, listings and buyer contact) to validate the business with real users.
The solution
Minimum scope defined during discovery, front end in AngularJS, Node.js API with Firebase for authentication and notifications, MariaDB persistence and responsive publishing.
