How does JBKR handle access to my systems?

Access is requested with the least privilege needed for the job and used only for the duration of the project or support plan. Credentials live in an encrypted password manager, never in plain text, and are not shared with third parties.

When a project ends without an ongoing support plan, we recommend and help with revoking the granted access. We always prefer named, auditable accounts over generic ones.

What happens to personal data in projects (LGPD/GDPR)?

Personal data processed during the work — from your systems' users, for example — is used exclusively to deliver the contracted service, in the role of processor. We do not sell, share or reuse client data across projects.

In development and testing we work with masked or synthetic data whenever possible. Local copies needed for the work are removed when the project ends.

How is AI used in projects? Does my data train models?

We use AI tools to accelerate development and, when contracted, we build AI solutions for clients. Client data is not used to train models: integrations use commercial APIs in modes that do not retain data for training, or private models when data cannot leave your infrastructure.

AI projects ship with guardrails, interaction audit logs and human review on critical flows — the same practices described on the AI & Automation page.

Backups, availability and incident response

On systems under our care, we configure automated backups with periodic restore tests and availability monitoring. Incidents are communicated transparently: what happened, the impact and the fix.

Who do I talk to about privacy?

For any personal-data request — access, correction or deletion — contact the person responsible directly: Jean C Becker, jbkr@jbkr.com.br. We reply the same business day.
